Our client, a recognised and well respected brand are seeking an experienced corporate account handler to supplement their team. You will be working inline with the FCA regulations, with responsibility for offering technical support to new and existing clients and general administration dealing with enquiries, renewals, midterm adjustments, obtaining quotations, claims handling and accounting procedures.

Duties:

  • Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner.
  • Access needs of customer and advise on suitable products and service for their needs. 
  • Develop new business leads and up sell products and services where possible 
  • Manage and process client new business, renewals, midterm adjustments and lapses in accordance with current procedures and FCA requirements.
  • Input accurate data onto the back office systems.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the General Insurance Manager and senior management staff where appropriate.
  • Assess, assimilate, analyse and present to insurers and underwriters to achieve risk acceptance at the most advantageous rate.
  • To prepare customer reports on both new and existing risks to support the commercial lines manager/supervisor.
  • Attend training courses and events as directed by the company.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships 
  • Ability to work under pressure meeting tight deadlnes 
  • Highly organised with good time management and problem solving skills 
  • IT Literate
  • Previous experience working in insurance is essential 

 

Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 + Benefits depending on experience

Hours: Mon - Friday 9am - 5:30pm
