This is a fantastic permanent opportunity within the organisation. 

As a procurement administrator you must have experience with:

  • Invoice data entry indexing, matching and processing into the finance system.
  • Requisition entry, purchase order matching.
  • Liaising with staff and suppliers regarding any queries on purchase orders and invoices.
  • Clear orders from the system which are no longer required/active.
  • Expedite orders, and deal with queries of any undelivered orders have not been received.
  • Help to maintain information on the Procurement Intranet pages when required.
  • Issue and dispatch of purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Opening and sorting post.
  • Monitoring of invoice email mailboxes.
  • Preparation and entry of service journals and have an understanding of the expense management system.
  • Assist with the training of staff in web based procurement applications.
  • Reconciliation of queries with suppliers (purchase order and invoicing issues).
  • Any other ad hoc duties which may be required.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • 3 years experience in an admin role 
  • Strong communication skills with an Empathetic approach and the ability to deal with individuals at all levels
  • Excellent IT skills including word and excel
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new soft wares and processes 
  • Good Customer service skills 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Previous experience in finance would be an advantage but is not essential
